In line with Govt call to improve value of graduates in Malaysia
This first-of-its-kind collaboration between an automotive institution and Sunway University will culminate in an online curriculum to benefit Carsome Academy students pursuing SKM/Technical and Vocational Education and Training courses. This curriculum was developed in line with the need to provide more holistic skill sets for automotive students. It focuses on enhancing personal attributes that will equip Carsome Academy graduates for more effective real world interactions as they navigate complex work environments. The curriculum will be delivered by Carsome Academy faculty both online and in face-to-face classes.
He stressed that the Carsome Academy approach is primarily founded on automotive industry DNA and student-centred. “The reality is technical skills alone are not enough for our students to succeed in their future careers. They would need to work with others in teams to solve problems, develop new services, and achieve organisational goals. This specially designed online curriculum will help them acquire a range of professional skills to succeed in their careers.
