Russian investigators have now detained one of the lawyers who worked for jailed Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny.
Videos and images are circulating appearing to show a Russian patrol ship on fire, with commentators suggesting it could have been struck by a Ukrainian missile.Advisor to the Ukrainian minister of internal affairs, Anton Gerashchenko, suggested that the ship could belong to the 22160 project. "According to preliminary information, as of 10am , one person was killed and 12 were injured, two administrative buildings were partially destroyed," State Emergency Services said.It claims Russia carried out the strike on the area, which is in the Donetsk region. Russia has likely launched a major and ongoing offensive in the Ukrainian city of Avdiivka, the Institute for the Study of War has said.
"LRA aircraft have not conducted a strike against Ukraine since 21 September 2023, a period of 21 days," the MoD said in an update.
