A car park in Dublin city centre has been closed after a number of vehicles went on fire.

It is understood that the fire started at one vehicle on the third floor of the car park.Dublin Fire Brigade has said that five fire appliances, two senior officers and a turntable ladder attended the fire, which was brought under control at 6.40pm. We have firefighters responding to a fire in a car park off Jervis Street.

Passengers have been advised that there is currently no Luas service between Smithfield and The Point/Connolly.
