Officers said they tried to stop the red Ford F350 he was driving because it had a license plate that expired in 2015. Despite the damage, the officer was able to follow Leachman but at one point, Leachman backed the truck up and struck the police car again.It is with great frustration and concern that I address the weekend release of Mr. Leachman on bond," Police Chief Randal Taylor said. "Leachman has proven time and time again that he has no regard for the law and should not have the ability to put our officers or the general public in any more danger.
