Johor police chief Comm Datuk Mohd Kamaruddin Md Din said a local man and two Vietnamese women were also arrested during the raid that was conducted around 11pm on Monday .
“We have also confiscated three vehicles, aside from a watch and RM1,214 in cash. All items confiscated were worth around RM106,214, ” he said at a press conference at the Johor police headquarters on Wednesday . “We are still investigating the roles that they play. Either they are just guarding the house as a store, or are involved in the distribution of the drugs, ” he said, adding that all three suspects are unemployed.
Meanwhile, in an unrelated case, Comm Mohd Kamaruddin said that the state Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department is going to destroy 444.5 litres of various types of drugs, including processing tools that had been chemically analysed and gone through the legal process.
